Blackcomb Helicopters is the leading helicopter charter company in the famous Sea to Sky corridor of British Columbia, Canada. Based in Whistler, we also operate in Vancouver, Squamish, Pemberton and wherever our customers require our services.

Positioned to meet the increasing demand for aviation services, particularly along the Sea to Sky corridor, Blackcomb Helicopters was acquired in 2006 by MCM Aviation; a joint venture between two well-known B.C. based companies, The McLean Group (www.mcleangroup.com) and Omega Aviation (www.omega-aviation.com). Blackcomb Helicopters was founded in 1989 by former owner Steve Flynn, who built the company together with his wife Michele into a highly respected enterprise and remains our General Manager.

Our reputation for excellence in customer service and operations is based on a couple of basic principles. First, safety is paramount in everything we do -- from maintaining our helicopters to briefing our passengers. Second, all of our people understand that we are in a service business --- friendly and competent customer service is critical to our success. We have a tremendous group of dedicated staff who, beyond their impressive qualifications and experience, understand that going the extra mile for our customers makes the difference between a good operator and a great enterprise.

Over almost two decades, we have established a wide customer base and serve a variety of businesses and organizations throughout the seasons. Our customers are involved in fire-fighting, film & television production, tourism, medical services, industrial construction support, communications, and the local mountain resort (Whistler-Blackcomb). Naturally, we also work in conjunction with search and rescue organizations and heli-skiing companies.

With the tremendous natural environment of Whistler and the Coast Range as our home, we provide best-in-class services to the tourism industry. Working closely with other Whistler tourism companies we offer heli-fishing, heli-hiking, weddings, group tours, sight-seeing flights, and various mountain adventure packages including transport to the backcountry lodge at Callaghan Country Wilderness Adventures.

Blackcomb Helicopters has grown significantly over the past few years and we plan to be a larger regional player through acquisitions and organic growth.
