Join the amazing team

At Blackcomb Helicopters, we welcome employment inquiries from potential rockstars. Whether you are looking for work as an aircraft maintenance engineer, pilot, ground crew, dispatch, administration, or a role within our safety department, we would love to hear from you. Our people are our most important resource and we take our commitment to providing them with a safe, dynamic, and challenging workplace, very seriously. But, while we are very serious about the work we do, we love having fun and take full advantage of the beautiful regions in which we work and live.

Who are we?

We are a team of aviation professionals who are passionate about providing remote mountain experience or related services for all our customers. In operation since 1989, Blackcomb Helicopters was founded in Whistler, British Columbia on this beautiful rugged terrain. Our network of bases supports utility services, mining, film, firefighting, powerline support, tourism, search and rescue, Heli-skiing, and other heli-adventures across Canada.

Interested in being a Rotary Pilot for Blackcomb Helicopters?

It is highly likely you already have an amazing personality and wicked sense of humour, which is a great start,  but unfortunately, that isn’t quite enough to get you in our pilot seat.  In general, we are looking for pilots with their Canadian CPL license, approximately 2000 hours, and type endorsed on one or more of our aircraft.  Preference will be given to those pilots with longline, heli-ski, and/or hydro utility environment work.  You also have the required HAC compliant mountain course and are incident and accident free. If you feel you fit the bill, we want to hear from you.

Are you just starting out as a pilot?  Congrats!  You have embarked upon a rewarding and challenging career and we want to help get you where you want to go, but we cannot get you into the pilot seat quite yet.

We do require that all applicants are legally entitled to work within Canada.

We are happy to review all resumes, so please send one along with a little information about yourself.  We look forward to hearing from you.
