Whistler Heli-Skiing (Whistler Blackcomb) has been here since 1981 and are Whistler's most popular heli-ski company. Their exclusive tenure consists of 432,000 acres of classic, big mountain terrain that every skier or snowboarder must experience at least once in a lifetime.
Their terrain includes 173 glaciers and 475 runs in an area that is 50 times the size of Whistler Blackcomb.
Blackcomb Helicopters has proudly flown Whistler Heli Skiing since its inception, and our pilots look forward to welcoming you on board for an epic day of skiing and boarding.
Blackcomb Helicopters is the contracted helicopter operator for Whistler Heli-Skiing.
All heli-skiing bookings must go directly through Whistler Heli Skiing (Whistler Blackcomb). We do not book Heli Skiing.

During the winter, Blackcomb Helicopters’ experienced heli-ski pilots fly a range of machines for Whistler Heli Skiing. Depending on your group size, ability and which package you choose (how many runs you’ll do in a day), you may fly in a Bell 407, Bell 212 or Astar B2/B3 machine!
BELL 212 HELICOPTER
These powerful helicopters are the most common machines used for heli-skiing in Canada.
Their versatility makes them ideal for the Classic and Elite packages.
Passengers: 7-10 guests
BELL 407 HELICOPTER
The Bell 407 are very fast, very agile and have tremendous climbing capability.
This machine is well-suited for the Ultimate Excursion package, for skiers and boarders who want to move quickly while fitting six or more runs into a day.

Astar HELICOPTER
Want to book a private heli for your group? You’ll likely be flying in AS350 machine. This 5-seater is suitable for private groups and will be dedicated to you for your epic day of skiing/boarding.

AlpX Expeditions, Blackcomb Helicopters’ adventure tourism division, offers Heli Assisted Ski Touring in its exclusive tenure.
Start the day with a lift into your chosen touring zone (and enjoy a heli ski run as your first line), where you will spend the day with an ACMG guide touring the area and exploring new terrain. Enjoy a packed lunch from Portobello Whistler before continuing the day and ending with a flight out. This is an intermediate/expert product and is not for beginners.
